Here is my last paintjob for Blacksmith Miniatures...and this miniature has a really special story for me. To start with, I realized quite a while ago, a small drawing for my girlfriend...a funny leprechaun and some mushrooms to illustrate a fantasy walk that she organized with children into the forest. This fast drawing was not planned to serve as concept art for a miniature...but...my girlfriend and Mr. Julien Blacksmith agreed to make me a great birthday present.
Here is the draw i did for my girlfriend...nothing special, just an old chap with a strange hat...
Some pictures of the sculpted figure, done by Stéphane Camosseto. Stéphane did a great job with a concept who wasn't really done for an interesting sculpt...and added his own touch and did a new different head with a mushroom hat...
And finally the paint job done for the box art...the second head will come with a second personal version of this little leprechaun.
A big thanks to Julien, Stéphane and Magali for this nice birthday present...it was really funny to paint it!
Hello mister Blabla,

Yannick
